Trophies will be awarded for first, second, and third place in each class in the Auxiliary, Drumline, Field Show, and Parade events. Specialty caption trophies will be presented in each class with three or more participants in the Field Show competition for: Outstanding Musical Performance…awarded to the most musical band as determined by the highest score given by the Music Judge. Playing while marching as well as playing while in place will be considered. Best Marching/Maneuvering Performance…awarded to the most precise marching and maneuvering band as determined by the highest score given by the M/M Judge. Marching while playing as well as maneuvering while not playing will be considered. Best General Effect Performance...awarded to the band with the highest general effect score generated by the total performance of their show as determined by the General Effect Judge. Best Auxiliary Unit…awarded to the auxiliary unit receiving the highest score from the Auxiliary Judge. Best Drum Major(s)/Field Commander(s)…awarded to the drum major(s)/field commander(s) receiving the highest score from the Drum Major/Field Commander Judge. A Sweepstakes Trophy will be awarded to the band with the highest combined score from the parade and field events. |
